Audity, an audio company under the unscripted media company Asylum Entertainment Group, has partnered with WNBA players Kelsey Plum and Aliyah Boston, as well as Olympic ski champion Mikaela Shiffrin, for a new “audio experience” called “Coach.” Currently in development in partnership with the athletes, Coach will serve as an experiential brand that provides listeners with access to a selection of custom coaching audio content, which the company notes will not be a podcast.
The coach offers personal insights and motivation from top athletes, “by sharing their experiences on and off the field in the context of performance, mindset and story via audio.”
“Coach is being developed to be a disruptive differentiator within the audio ecosystem, and for today’s generation of athletes,” said Chris Corcoran, Audity’s general manager and chief content officer. “I’m incredibly honored and excited to work with Kelsey, Aliyah and Mikaela, all of whom will resonate powerfully across all aspects of the vision.”
