The first trailer for Bagman, a new horror film from Lionsgate, has been released.

Bagman is a new horror film starring Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Peaky Blinders) about a mythical, evil creature that kidnaps children. The film arrives just in time for Halloween, hitting theaters in the United States this September.

"In the dark horror film Bagman, a family is caught in a nightmare as they are hunted by an evil, mythical creature," reads the official synopsis. For centuries and across cultures, parents have warned their children about the legendary Bagman, who kidnaps innocent children and stuffs them into his hideous, rotting bag, never to be seen again. Patrick McKee (Sam Claflin) narrowly escaped such an encounter as a boy, leaving him with lasting scars for the rest of his adult life. Now Patrick's childhood tormentor has returned, threatening the safety of his wife Karina (Antonia Thomas) and son Jake (Caréll Rhoden). Lionsgate presents, in association with Media Capital Technologies, a Temple Hill production."
