Barack and Michelle Obama have endorsed Kamala Harris for president.
The former POTUS ended days of speculation by saying Joe Biden's replacement has the "vision, character and strength this critical moment demands" in a joint statement with his wife, the former first lady.
The statement was accompanied by a video of the Obamas calling Harris. "We're calling to say Michelle and I couldn't be more proud to support you," Barack Obama can be heard saying in the video. "Oh my gosh," Harris responds. "Michelle, Barack, this means so much to me."
