Minnie Driver joins the DC animated universe in an unexpected role.
Minnie Driver GASLIGHTS Over Gender-Swapped Penguin For Batman: Caped Crusader
On Saturday, the Academy Award nominee was revealed as the voice of Oswalda Cobbelpot, a gender-flipped version of The Penguin, during the Batman: Caped Crusader panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
During the panel, the first episode of the series was shown, in which Driver made his debut as The Penguin.
Driver was in attendance and took part in a post-screening discussion with co-stars Hamish Linklater and Jamie Chung, as well as executive producer Matt Reeves. The panel began with a video message from EP Bruce Timm.
