Senator Ronald Dela Rosa said he is willing to be questioned by prosecutors at the International Criminal Court (ICC) who are investigating him for his role in former President Rodrigo Duterte's brutal war on drugs.

Dela Rosa and Oscar Albayalde are being named in Duterte's case for crimes against humanity because as chiefs of the Philippine National Police (PNP), they were tasked with carrying out the previous administration's bloody war on drugs that left thousands of impoverished suspects dead.
Dela Rosa said his willingness to be questioned does not mean he is submitting to the ICC's jurisdiction.
“I am willing to communicate with you, I am related, I am not a problem. I am willing to interview you, they can interview me anytime,” Dela Rosa said in an interview with DWPM on Friday (Aug. 2).
