01 Maigret Goes Home V2 – BBC Production
Colin Callender's Playground will adapt Georges Simenon's best-selling detective novel "Maigret" into a television series to be broadcast in the US on PBS under the banner "Masterpiece".
The film adaptation of streetwise Parisian Chief Inspector Jules Maigret has gone into production in Budapest. Callender and David Stern will serve as executive producers on Playground.
Benjamin Wainwright (“Belgravia: The Next Chapter,” “Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim”) plays Maigret and Stefanie Martini (“The Gold,” “Last Kingdom,” “Emerald City”) plays Madame Louise Maigret.
