UTA announced on Monday the expansion of its creator practice with the addition of Beth Heard as an agent for its UK Creators division.
Gina Reyes Joins UTA as Television Literary Agent
In her new role, Heard will focus on expanding UTA’s European roster of audio-endemic and digital-first talent, which includes Madeline Argy, RedHanded, Jampot Productions and Yung Filly. She will be based in the agency’s London office.
Heard joins from Sixteenth, the London-based management agency that represents the UK’s leading thought leaders, changemakers and creators. She spent just over three years there, most recently as Head of Talent. To date, she’s built the digital-first careers of some of the UK’s biggest creators, from booktuber Jack Edwards to the queen of British true crime, Eleanor Neale. Heard’s career also includes six years’ experience in senior communications, primarily in the health, beauty and wellness industries.
In a statement about UTA’s new addition, Shelby Schenkman, co-agent of London UTA Creators, said: “We are delighted to welcome Beth to our rapidly growing Creators division in the UK. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the digital-first landscape will be a tremendous asset as we continue to expand UTA’s presence globally.”
