Bigg Boss Marathi season 5 has quickly become a major talking point among the audience, especially with the recent eviction task. The show nominated six contestants for eviction, which increased the anticipation for the first eviction of the season. Consequently, on August 4, host Riteish Deshmukh announced the first eviction of the season, which further increased the audience engagement.

Since its premiere on July 28, the season has introduced sixteen celebrities and social media influencers, promising enthralling entertainment. The contestants include Abhijeet Sawant, Nikki Tamboli, Irina Rudakova, Varsha Usgaonkar, Arbaaz Shaikh, Vaibhav Chavan, Ankita Prabhu Walavalkar, Shubhankar Tawde, Sameeksha Takke, Dhananjay Pawar, Paddy Kamble, Manasi Naik and Jahanvi Killekar.

Earlier, in week 1 of Bigg Boss Marathi season 5, six contestants were nominated for eviction: Purushottam Patil, Dhananjay Pawar, Suraj Chavan, Ankita Prabhu Walavalkar, Varsha Usgaonkar and Yogita Chavan. Then, Bigg Boss introduced the first nomination task, “Nomination Chi Tof”, which hinted at the impending elimination. Despite their best efforts to avoid elimination, Purushottam Patil was eventually evicted from the show. This left the other housemates emotional as they bid him farewell.
