Bill and Hillary Clinton praised President Joe Biden after Biden withdrew from the presidential race on Sunday, while simultaneously endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor at the top of the Democratic ticket.

“We are honored to join the President in endorsing Vice President Harris and will do everything we can to support her,” the Clintons wrote in a message on X/Twitter.

“We have been through many ups and downs, but nothing has made us more concerned about our country than the threat that a second Trump term poses. He has promised to be a dictator on day one, and the recent statement by a A submissive Supreme Court will only embolden him to further tear up the Constitution. Now is the time to support Kamala Harris and fight with everything we have to elect her. The future of America depends on it.”
