Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym for the creator of Bitcoin. A recent documentary, Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery, revealed Nakamoto's identity as Peter Todd.
The filmmaker behind Money Electric, Cullen Hoback, is said to have conducted several interviews to come to the aforementioned conclusion. He conducted extensive interviews with Adam Back (another candidate rumored to be Satoshi Nakamoto), investor Roger Ver, Bitcoin marketer Samson Mow, and Peter Todd. In addition to the aforementioned interviews, Hoback also reviewed an older Bitcoiner forum to draw his conclusions.
