During the company’s fiscal third-quarter earnings call with Wall Street analysts, Iger also discussed potential partnerships for ESPN, a scenario floated more than a year ago as the company emerged from a grueling financial period, cut billions in costs and streamlined its workforce and content offerings.
"Believe it or not, we're still in discussions about it," Iger said of the potential ESPN partnership. "We continue to believe there are opportunities to collaborate with others, particularly on content, and so we continue to explore that. But there's nothing to add."
