The rumored Bobby Darin Broadway bio-musical starring Jonathan Groff is now live: Just In Time, directed by Alex Timbers, opens at the Circle in the Square Theatre on Friday, March 28, 2025. It is scheduled to open the following month on Wednesday, April 23.

"Bobby Darin was a supernova," Groff said in a statement today. "He tore through every corner of the entertainment industry, but his immense talent, charisma and sheer genius were most evident when he let loose in front of an audience. This ancient, passionate love affair he had with the audience was the inspiration for the creation of our show."
In addition to playing the singer of hits such as "Beyond the Sea," "Splish Splash," "Dream Lover," "Mack the Knife" and the title song, Groff will serve as producer of Just In Time. Groff said, "Alex Timber's distinctive ability to make a theater visit an unforgettable event and Bobby's signature musicality and explosive, fleeting life make Broadway the perfect place to experience the story and essence of this once-in-a-lifetime talent."
Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre, producers announced today, will be transformed into an immersive nightclub setting. In addition to Groff, the production will feature a cast of 16 and a live big band on stage.
