Bolivians block Morales' candidacy for fourth presidential term
Former Bolivian President Evo Morales warned in an interview with AFP of possible violence if he is barred from running for a fifth term in the 2025 presidential election.
“I'm not calling for anything, just to be sure, but it would be fatal, I think, I know my people,” the 64-year-old said.
Morales, Bolivia's first indigenous president, was hugely popular until he attempted to circumvent the constitution in 2019 and run for a fourth term.
