Informants will have to wait for the sentencing of former Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director General Gerald Bantag before receiving the P2 million reward.

“If and when the accused is convicted, that is when the reward will be paid,” Department of Justice (DOJ) Assistant Secretary Jose Dominic Clavano IV told ANC in an interview on Tuesday (June 20).
The Justice Department announced Monday (June 19) that it is offering a reward of 2 million pesos for information on Bantag's whereabouts.
A reward of 1 million pesos was also offered for information on the whereabouts of former BuCor Deputy Security Officer Ricardo Zulueta.
