Lionsgate has released the final Borderlands trailer in preparation for the video game's theatrical release next month.

The new Borderlands trailer shows off the all-star cast and explains a bit more of the plot in the process. There were already a few scenes shown in the previous trailer, but Borderlands fans will still find plenty to spot in this one. But if Eli Roth’s film was trying to stop the Guardians of the Galaxy comparisons, this trailer doesn’t do much to help.

Borderlands centers on a ragtag team of misfits sent on a mission to rescue a missing girl who holds the key to unimaginable power. It’s based on Gearbox’s best-selling shooter franchise, which has run since 2009 and has produced five major games, including 2022’s fantasy-themed Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.
