“Bosch: Legacy” concludes with a third season on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video.

Season 3 of the series is scheduled to launch in March 2025. Michael Connelly, whose Harry Bosch novels serve as the basis for the series, made the announcement via Instagram on Friday.

"It's been an amazing run with this character so far," Connelly wrote. "There's that overused phrase 'It takes a village,' so I'll just say it takes a village or more to make a show like this. We've had the best people from start to finish. The actors, the writers, the directors, the producers, the entire crew have tried to make something special, and they've certainly succeeded. I'm very proud of what we've done."

Connelly went on to praise series lead Titus Welliver, who first began playing detective Harry Bosch on the original series in 2014. "He became the complete embodiment of Harry Bosch and that was the magic that fueled 10 seasons. As the guy who writes the books, I can't tell you how happy I was when he signed on."
