'It Ends With Us' Star Brandon Sklenar Breaks Silence Amid Alleged Casting Feud
The actor who plays Atlas Corrigan in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's novel shared a post on social media defending Hoover and star Blake Lively.
"I wanted to take a moment to address all of this online garbage," Sklenar wrote in a statement on Instagram. "Colleen and the women in this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and women choosing to make better lives for themselves. Slandering the women who poured so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive and distracts from what this film is about."
He continued: "It's actually the opposite of the point. What may or may not have happened behind the scenes does not detract from our intentions in making this film, and hopefully it shouldn't. It's disheartening to see how much negativity is projected online."
