Saul Goodman Talks About Cinnabon in Reference to Better Call Saul from Breaking Bad S05E15
Writer and producer Peter Gould recently shared an early draft of an episode of Breaking Bad that would have seen the character work at Hot Topic in his eponymous spinoff series that ran on AMC from 2015 to 2022.
“I stumbled across this page via an early draft of the penultimate episode of #BreakingBad. Cinnabon? Not yet!” Gould wrote on Bluesky.
In Better Call Saul, the titleholder is introduced as a struggling public defender working at a Cinnabon, a reference to the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad. "If I'm lucky, in a month, best case scenario, I'll be running a Cinnabon in Omaha," Saul tells Walter White (Bryan Cranston) in the 2013 episode "Granite State."
