Brendan Fraser to play Dwight D Eisenhower in D-Day film 'Pressure' about historic Normandy
EXCLUSIVE: Oscar winner Brendan Fraser (The Whale) is set to play Supreme Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower in Working Title and Studiocanal's upcoming D-Day film Pressure.
Fraser joins BAFTA winner Andrew Scott, who, as we revealed on Friday, will star in the drama about the tense days leading up to the Normandy landings.
The true-life story will see All of Us Strangers and Ripley star Scott play British Chief Meteorological Officer James Stagg, whose job it was to brief Eisenhower on weather conditions that would make or break their Normandy invasion. The complex decision-making was crucial to the fate of the war and the course of history.
