The Buggles – Video Killed The Radio Star (Official Music Video)
EXCLUSIVE: Bridgerton star Harriet Cains and Jojo Rabbit actor Luke Brandon Field are set to star in the 1979 horror film Video Killed The Radio Star.
The film follows a pirate radio DJ (Field) who accidentally unleashes a demonic force during his broadcast, turning the station into a battleground for humanity. As the supernatural threat spreads through the airwaves, the DJ and his assistant (Cains) must ) face the horrors they have unleashed.
The film comes from director Brad Watson (I'll Play Mother) and the recently launched genre company Dreamtown (formerly known as The Number 44), a division of British company Goldfinch. Production began July 8 in London. Phil McKenzie and Michelle Arnusch serve as executive producers.
