Working Title Films has confirmed that production has finally wrapped on the upcoming fourth instalment in the iconic Bridget Jones franchise, titled Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, following three months of filming in London. The film is based on Helen Fielding's 2013 novel of the same name.

Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy is scheduled to premiere on Peacock in the U.S. and in theaters internationally on February 14, 2025. The project officially reunites franchise veterans Renée Zellweger, Emma Thompson, and Hugh Grant as they reprise their respective roles as Bridget Jones, Dr. Rawling, and Daniel Cleaver. They’re joined by new cast members Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Old Guard) as Mr. Wallaker, Leo Woodall (One Day) as Roxster, Isla Fisher (Confessions of a Shopaholic) as Rebecca, Nico Parker (The Last of Us) as Chloe, and more.
The sequel is directed by Michael Morris from a screenplay by Fielding. It is produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, and Jo Wallett, with Fielding, Amelia Granger, and Sarah-Jane Wright serving as executive producers. The franchise, which includes 2001's Bridget Jones' Diary, 2004's Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and 2016's Bridget Jones' Baby, has grossed a combined $760 million at the worldwide box office.
