Jung Kook of K-pop group BTS is set to release a new documentary called "Jung Kook: I Am Still" — reportedly a video diary of the singer's "eight-month journey" to his solo debut — in theaters worldwide on September 18.

The film is directed by Junsoo Park, who has directed a majority of the many films dedicated to BTS and its eight members, along with other films coming out of Big Hit Music, BTS's South Korean record label. "Jung Kook: I Am Still" will premiere on September 18, with limited screenings worldwide in over 120 countries and regions.

At the time of this article's publication, a full list of those cities had not yet been released. Tickets for the shows go on sale on August 21.

In a press release, Big Hit describes that the documentary began around the time Jung Kook released “Seven,” a track featuring American rapper Latto, in the lead-up to his debut solo album, “Golden.” “The film presents exclusive, never-before-seen footage and interviews, as well as electrifying live performances that delve into the creative process, unwavering work ethic, and unique challenges that face a global superstar,” the release continues. “It offers viewers an intimate look into the journey behind his solo debut that showcased the pinnacle of Jung Kook’s artistry and catapulted him to global pop stardom.”
