The trailer for Call Me Bae opens with shots of Bella 'Bae' Chowdhary's life of extravagance and privilege in New Delhi. "Seven luxury cars, a chopper and a fairytale wedding," Bae rattles off in the trailer.
However, Bae is soon rejected by her family and ends up in Mumbai, where she must now build a different life for herself. She applies for a job as a journalist and makes unexpected friendships and alliances.
The eight-part series also features Vir Das, Gurfateh Pirzada, Varun Sood, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Niharika Lyra Dutt, Lisa Mishra and Mini Mathur.
