Camila Mendes cast as Teela in live-action film 'Masters of the Universe' | THR News
Former Riverdale actress Camila Mendes will play the role of Teela in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Masters of the Universe. She will join Nicholas Galitzine's He-Man.
The actress will play Teela, a warrior recruited to protect the royal family, specifically Prince Adam of Eternia (aka He-Man). The announcement comes weeks after it was revealed that Mendes will star in the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot alongside Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers and Jonah Hauer-King.
Not much has been revealed yet about what the upcoming film will entail, but it has been announced that the film will hit theaters on June 5, 2026. The film, which comes from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films, is based on the iconic Mattel franchise and will focus on Prince Adam of Eternia, who has been granted superhuman powers.
