The recent Captain America 4: Brave New World trailer hints at a new test of Sam Wilson’s abilities to hold the mantle of Captain America, passed down to him by the legendary Steve Rogers. As he’s set to cross paths with the Red Hulk in the highly anticipated film, fans are wondering if Sam Wilson’s powers are enough to take on this formidable character. With the trailer teasing a new suit for Wilson in Captain America 4, fans are eager to see if the MCU will give him an adamantium upgrade in the form of armor, as the metal is reportedly entering the universe. Here’s everything we know.

Sam Wilson's Adamantium Suit in Captain America: Brave New World!

According to fans, Sam Wilson could be getting an adamantium upgrade in Captain America 4, based on details from the trailer. With Captain America 4 tying into 2021 Eternals by featuring Tiamut as one of the film's key plot points, adamantium has become a topic of conversation for many fans.

According to Men's Journal, Sam Wilson's new suit photos were released by the MCU in January. The new suit appeared to be an homage to Steve Rogers' Captain America's Endgame suit. The suit is lighter in color than the one Wilson wore in the Falcon and The Winter Soldier finale, but what caught fans' attention were the vibranium wings that were brought over from the Disney+ show, along with a new helmet. Since Sam Wilson lacks the extraordinary powers of the super soldier serum that Chris Evans' Steve Rogers had, the vibranium suit gives him an edge in battle, as seen in the trailer and the Disney+ show.

However, one thing that may have fans questioning Wilson's powers once again, combined with the suit, is a glimpse of Harrison Ford's President Thaddeus Ross' Red Hulk effortlessly grabbing the vibranium shield in mid-air and smashing it on the ground. Red Hulk's dominance over vibranium is also on display in a poster released with the trailer, which shows the red evil giant's hand crushing the edges of Captain America's shield.
