Christa Robinson, who has been in charge of communications at CBS News for the past nine years, is leaving the network at the end of this month.

Robinson, who serves as executive vice president of CBS News and Stations, wrote in a memo to staff today: "I have been fortunate to work with four CBS News presidents and know firsthand the positive impact the dedicated people across this organization have every day. As we transition to a new executive team amid other corporate changes, I welcome this opportunity to determine the next step in my career."
Chris Ender, executive VP of communications for CBS, wrote: "During her time here, Christa has elevated CBS News' biggest moments and deftly navigated the division through its toughest challenges. Her strategies and guidance have benefited countless programs, on-air talent and senior executives, as well as breaking news events, political conventions and election nights."
Robinson previously led communications and public relations at CNN Worldwide and was chief communications officer at Tribune Media.
