Chappell Roan cancels another show
Chappell Roan tells fans that her team has canceled tickets for an upcoming show in Franklin, Tennessee, which they believe were purchased by scalpers or bots. She posted a link to a special Ticketmaster page that she said will allow "people who actually want to come" to purchase the recovered tickets.
“Hello, Franklin, Tennessee,” the rising pop star said in a video posted to her Instagram Stories. “My show at Firstbank Amphitheatre on October 1st sold out like crazy and we found out why: scalpers and bots were buying up all the tickets. So we canceled all the scalper tickets that we could, so as of that point, we’re going to be releasing a limited amount of tickets to you guys because I want to make sure that the tickets are going to people that actually want to come and, like, our fans.”
The new page she promoted as an alternative way for real fans to potentially get tickets for the October 1 show, Chappellroan.request.ticketmaster.com, is through Ticketmaster… but should not be confused with the standard Ticketmaster page for the concert, which still shows the concert as sold out.
