CHESTER BENNINGTON's son is upset about the LINKIN PARK reunion
Chester Bennington's son Jaime said on his Instagram Story that some Linkin Park fans became aggressive toward him after he spoke out against Emily Armstrong as the band's new lead singer. Chester Bennington, who was Linkin Park's lead singer for more than a decade, committed suicide in 2017. Jamie has criticized Armstrong's appointment, in part because of her ties to Scientology and her past support of Danny Masterson, who was convicted of raping two women and sentenced to 30 years to life in prison.
"There's a lot of people who don't like me. There's a lot of people who are saying really horrible things to me right now," Jamie said. "Honestly, I don't think I feel safe going to the show in general admission because I don't know who I'm around. I don't know who would recognize me or take it upon themselves to be aggressive towards me if I'm just there to see the show. But I have to see it."
Linkin Park is gearing up to release their first new music since Chester’s death. With Armstrong on lead vocals, the band is releasing a new album and a supporting tour called “From Zero.” Linkin Park is set to play a show in Los Angeles on September 11, which Jamie plans to attend despite fan harassment.
