We've already seen Firehouse 51 say goodbye to two of its members in Chicago Fire Season 12, with Alberto Rosende's firefighter Blake Gallo and Kara Killmer's paramedic Sylvie Brett departing in the premiere and episode 6, respectively. But the NBC drama has already dropped hints that other characters could be leaving the place they call home behind sooner rather than later.

The most recent episode alone, in which everyone sent Brett packing after her and Casey's (Jesse Spencer) wedding, set up one character's retirement and the possible death of another, another's consideration of whether he needed to be 51, and someone's decision to leave. And earlier episodes showed that one character may not have had a choice about how long he could remain a firefighter.
