The ongoing Chinese romantic drama The Best Day of My Life released episode 10 on July 29, 2024. The series tells the story of Xu Mu (Jiang Zhinan) and Xie Shi (Zhang Jiongmin), who sign a relationship contract to avoid getting married. However, in the final episode, the two decided to break up.

Xu Mu and her colleagues set up Zhang Yao's event venue. He expresses his gratitude by acknowledging that Xu Mu worked hard to make his first art exhibition unforgettable. Meanwhile, Xie Shi arrives at the venue, but becomes jealous when he sees Xu Mu's growing closeness to Zhang Yao. While helping her colleague repair a donkey, Xu Mu overhears Qiao Nan telling Xie Shi that he left his coat for her, causing her to overthink the situation.

On the way home, Xu Mu asks Xie Shi directly about Qiao Nan. He tells her that she worked with him at the head office abroad and can sense her distress. But before the conversation can continue, Xie Shi receives a call from his colleague and has to rush back to work. Nian Nian and Shen Yi invite Xu Mu, Xie Shi and their other friends to go camping with them.

Qiao Nan also joins them. Seeing her getting closer to Xie Shi bothers Xu Mu, but she stays quiet. Some of her friends tell her how Qiao Nan and Xie Shi have always been close and how everyone thought they were a couple. Furthermore, Xie Shi had written in his diary that he had loved someone for a long time, but his confession ended in rejection.
