Christopher Nolan and Universal Pictures' collaboration will continue with Nolan's next film, following the massive critical and commercial success of their first joint venture, Oppenheimer (2023). Matt Damon, who previously worked with Nolan on Interstellar (2014) and Oppenheimer, is in talks to lead the cast of the as-yet-untitled project, which is scheduled for a summer 2026 release.

Academy Award-winning filmmaker Christopher Nolan has decided to remain with Universal Pictures for his next film, which is set to hit theaters, including IMAX, on July 17, 2026. Matt Damon, whose critically acclaimed portrayal of General Leslie Groves in Oppenheimer, is set to appear in the film.
As has become the norm with Nolan's films, plot details for his next project are being kept strictly under wraps. In addition to directing, Nolan will write and produce the film through his production company Syncopy Inc. with Emma Thomas. (via Variety)
