Joe and Anthony Russo’s Citadel series is expanding its reach with an Indian installment that is currently in the works. The brand new show, titled Citadel: Honey Bunny, has also been given an official release date. Additionally, Bollywood stars Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have been cast to play the lead roles.

Citadel: Honey Bunny is set to be the third installment in the ever-expanding Citadel universe, alongside an Italian adaptation called Citadel: Diana. The Indian series will be helmed by talented directing duo Raj & DK. Interestingly, the highly anticipated spin-off is executive produced by the Russo brothers’ AGBO.

The worldwide release date for Citadel: Honey Bunny has been confirmed as November 7, 2024. The Italian version is scheduled for release on October 10, 2024.

The release date of Honey Bunny was announced by Prime Video during a recently organized fan event in Mumbai, India. The entertainment giants also unveiled a teaser trailer for the series during the event. The series, which is set in a 90s setting, will combine elements of a spy action thriller with a love story.
