Amazon MGM Studios has added What We Do in the Shadows star Matt Berry and Ferrari star Gabriel Leone to the cast of Citadel season 2 for the next installment of the Prime Video spy thriller series.

Berry and Leone have been tapped for recurring roles. This comes after Berry recently earned his first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his performance as Laszlo in What We Do In the Shadows. He is currently attached to two upcoming animated films, The Wild Robot and Rogue Trooper. Meanwhile, Leone will first star in the Netflix sports biopic series Senna, premiering on November 29.
Citadel stars Richard Madden as Mason Kane, Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Nadia Sinh, Lesley Manville as Dahlia Archer, Stanley Tucci as Bernard Orlick, Osy Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashleigh Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Møller as Anders Silje and Davik Silje, Caoilinn Springall as Hendrix Conroy, and more. In addition to Berry and Leone, Jack Reynor (The Peripheral) was previously confirmed to have joined the cast for season 2.
The series is executive produced by Anthony and Joe Russo through their AGBO banner, with David Weil serving as showrunner. It is a global espionage thriller told across multiple shows set in the United States, Italy, India and Mexico, with each version told in the local language of the country. The global event series is written and executive produced by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg of Midnight Radio. Weil, Mike Larocca, Angela Russo-Otstot and Scott Nemes serve as executive producers.
