The incident reportedly began as a verbal altercation while Francesca Eastwood and her boyfriend were driving through Beverly Hills, according to Fox News, but quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.
Eastwood's boyfriend reportedly contacted authorities who advised him to drive to the Beverly Hills Police Department Safety Zone to meet officers, TMZ reported. Upon arrival, officers found injuries on the boyfriend, leading to Francesca's arrest on a charge of domestic violence under section 273.5 of the California Penal Code.
Francesca was booked into the system at 2:06 a.m. on Sunday, October 13, and was later released after posting bail. Neither Francesca nor her representatives have made any public statements about the arrest, and her father, Clint Eastwood, has not commented on the record. This isn't Francesca's first run-in with the law. She previously had legal trouble in 2015 over a DUI charge that was ultimately dismissed.
