Former WWE World Champion CM Punk is set to face Drew McIntyre in a highly anticipated match at WWE SummerSlam. The animosity between Punk and McIntyre has been simmering for months, with both Superstars locked in a bitter feud marked by constant attacks and interference.

Punk has been a problem for McIntyre, who has consistently sabotaged the Scot’s title chase. However, McIntyre has refused to give up, and has taken brutal revenge on Punk in the ring and on social media.
A few weeks ago, CM Punk announced his official medical clearance to return to the ring. Given the constant chaos and disruption caused by both superstars, this led to his long-awaited match against Drew McIntyre at WWE SummerSlam becoming official.
On the other hand, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce decided to add a twist to the match. In order to ensure order and prevent further interference, Pearce appointed Seth Rollins as the special guest referee for the SummerSlam showdown.
