Brian Stelter Talks About the Cancellation of His CNN Show 'Reliable Sources'

People who want to see what Brian Stelter has planned for CNN's media newsletter "Reliable Sources" don't have to wait as long as they might think.

Beginning Monday, “RS” will appear every weekday morning, Monday through Friday, and the next edition – the first to appear since Stelter returned to CNN last week after a two-year absence – could be published within 30 minutes of the article you are reading now appearing.

The AM posting and the new five-day-a-week schedule — “Reliable Sources” recently ran Monday through Thursday evenings — are “experimental, in beta mode,” Stelter says during a brief conversation Sunday night, as he worked on the newsletter and got his kids ready for bed. “I also think there’s room to look a little bit more ahead to the day ahead,” he adds, noting that the “new iteration” of the newsletter “will be shorter. It will be sharper.”
