COBRA KAI Season 6 Part 1 Ending Explained
Here's everything you want to know about the ending of Cobra Kai Season 6 Episode 5.
Miyagi-Do can only take six students to Barcelona to participate in the Sekai Taikai. Initially, they are Miguel, Sam, Robby, Tory, Demetri and Devon. However, Tory, who is also in the running to become the team captain, leaves the dojo after Daniel refuses to let her fight Sam. Tory had just lost her mother to an illness that the latter was struggling with. Interestingly, Daniel did not think she was capable of competing for the captain's band.
Tory's departure also has consequences for Daniel and Johnny's already strained relationship, as the latter announces that he will be retiring from the dojo after Sekai Taikai is over. Eventually, Hawk replaces Tory on the team, and Sam and Robby are appointed captains. When Daniel sees the symbols on the official Sekai Taikai captain headbands, he runs back to the dojo. He finds a similar headband, albeit bloodstained, and realizes that his deceased Sensei fought in Sekai Taikai.
