Following Sony’s success with Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us, which grossed $344.5 million worldwide, Universal is getting in on the action with the New York Times bestselling author, having acquired the rights to her novel Reminders of Him. Though no director or stars are yet attached, the studio has aggressively set the film for February 13, 2026 — the same Valentine’s Day window it played its Fifty Shades of Grey films.

Reminders of Him has sold over 5 million copies in the United States, 6.5 million copies worldwide, and has been translated into 45 languages.
