Senator Loren Legarda praised Filipino boxer Aira Villegas for winning the bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.

Legarda praised Villegas' smart and decisive moves during her Olympic debut and wished her more victories in the future.
“I commend Filipina boxer Aira Villegas for bringing home her country’s third Olympic medal at the #Olympic Games in Paris!” she said in a statement on Facebook.
"We were fascinated by the way you fought your way to the semi-finals and defeated your opponents through clever and decisive action. We, as a grateful nation, hope for your continued success. Congratulations, Aira!" she added.
