Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez expressed pride in the legislative achievements of the House of Representatives, saying the positive impact of the laws passed in the 19th Congress is now slowly being felt.

“We have done our homework. We have addressed concerns about food security, climate change, social protection, tourism, public health, public order and safety, among others,” Romualdez said.
“In fact, the fruits of our overarching development agenda initiatives of the past two years are now slowly being felt across the country,” he added.
Romualdez also cited the country's economic performance under the Marcos administration.
