The attendee who died in Saturday's shooting at Donald Trump's rally has been identified as Corey Comperatore, a 50-year-old firefighter with a wife and two daughters who "died a hero," Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said.

“Corey showed up last night to protect his family during this meeting,” said Shapiro, who passed on a message after speaking with Comperatore's wife.
"Corey was the best of us. May his memory be a blessing," Shapiro told reporters.
The FBI said one male attendee was killed and two others were seriously wounded when the gunman opened fire at the rally. Former President Donald Trump was also injured but is "doing fine," according to the campaign.
