The second night of the Creative Arts Emmys is underway at the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles.
Creative Arts Emmys 2024: Live show to announce winners in comedy, drama, miniseries and film categories
The ceremony will focus on scripted programming. The absolute top of the nominations is FX's "Shogun" with a total of 25 nominations.
The show's composer, Atticus Ross, shares a trophy with his brother Leopold Ross and fellow composer Nick Chuba. If Ross wins, he'll win a Tony Award and be less likely to owe EGOT status.
A win for songwriters and musicians Benj Pasek and Justin Paul in the original song category for their earworm “Only Murders in the Building” and “Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It?” would make the duo the 20th and 21st artists to enter the elusive EGOT club – they already have Oscar, Tony and Grammy Awards under their belts.
