Crunchyroll has released the Dan Da Dan opening sequence for the upcoming sci-fi horror comedy anime series from animation studio Science SARU. The series will be available to stream on Netflix and Crunchyroll starting October 3.

"It follows Momo, a high school girl from a family of psychics, and her classmate Okarun, an occult freak. The two begin to talk after Momo saves Okarun from bullying. However, a conflict arises between them – Momo believes in ghosts but denies aliens, and Okarun believes in aliens but denies ghosts," reads the official synopsis. "To make the mutual deniers believe in each other, Momo goes to an abandoned hospital known for its UFO sightings, and Okarun goes to a tunnel that is rumored to be haunted. At each location, they encounter overwhelming paranormal activity that defies comprehension. Amidst these dire situations, Momo awakens her hidden power and Okarun is given the power of a curse to challenge the paranormal forces! Their fateful love also begins!?"

The colorful opening credits give viewers a closer look at some of the characters in the upcoming anime, besides the main protagonists Momo and Okarun. It also features the opening song titled "Otonoke" by Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts. The video also gives a sneak peek at the locations featured in the anime.
