Emmy Awards 2024: First-Ever Father-Son Hosts Announced – Schitt's Creek Stars Eugene & Dan Levy

ABC has shared its first promo for this year's 76th Annual Emmy Awards, hosted by Dan Levy and Eugene Levy — and for the quip, they're going high-flown — er, eyebrow-raising. Yeah, it's probably fitting that the first father-son Emmy hosting duo would kick things off with a dad joke.
In the spot, Dan warns his dad not to go for a low-brow joke. But Eugene can't resist. The promo debuted Tuesday night during ABC's primetime lineup, which includes the season finale of "The Bachelorette." And the ad also comes as the Television Academy kicks Emmy Awards month into high gear, with the Creative Arts Emmys this weekend, Sept. 7 and 8, at the Peacock Theatre in downtown L.A.
