Nearly 25 years later, Danielle Fishel wishes Topanga had said, "Not me."

In a recent episode of the Pod Meets World podcast, the actress admitted that she didn't think Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) and Topanga Lawrence's (Fishel) wedding in the 1999 Boy Meets World episode "It's About Time" was "the right choice" for the show.

"I remember from my memory, after we got married, and I thought, well, now we're married, and they had to come up with new things, like upping the stakes for us," she said. "And I remember not liking the stakes."

Because the wedding episode took place midway through the series' seventh and final season, Fishel believes the show "could have made more of the fact that they were together but not yet married" when the characters were still in college.
