Daredevil is back and reborn.
FIRST LOOK at Daredevil Born Again Revealed at D23
Marvel debuted the first footage for “Daredevil: Born Again” at D23 in Anaheim on Friday night, starring Charlie Cox in his first solo series since the original “Daredevil” Netflix show in the 2010s. The series’ March release date was also announced.
In addition to Cox returning as the blind lawyer turned crime fighter, "Daredevil: Born Again" brings back Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin; Jon Bernthal as the Punisher; Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page; Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson; and Wilson Bethel as Poindexter. Newcomers to the cast include Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Jeremy Earl and Ayelet Zurer, who takes over the role of Vanessa Marianna-Fisk from Sandrine Holt in the original series.
Cox, D'Onofrio, Bernthal and Woll all appeared at the panel to debut the trailer, which wasn't immediately made available for fans to watch online. The footage showcased the series' violent scope, with Daredevil musing grimly, "Somebody's got to protect the streets" and "New York is what it's always been: out for blood."
