In the months leading up to the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, there was no shortage of online rumors suggesting that pop star Taylor Swift would make a cameo in Levy's MCU film. One of the more prominent theories was that Swift would appear as Dazzler, a mutant with the ability to convert sound vibrations into light and energy.
Deadpool & Wolverine hits United theaters in July 2024. While the Marvel Studios film features a number of surprise cameos, Swift does not appear in it.
Speaking to Variety, Levy was asked if there was ever a plan to cast Swift in the film or if this was all just internet speculation.
