Marvel Studios has shared the Deadpool & Wolverine final trailer for their highly anticipated superhero threequel, starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The film will finally hit theaters next week, on Friday, July 26.

Unlike previous trailers, the newly released video gives fans a more serious look at Marvel Studios' first-ever R-rated film. It emphasizes the importance of the titular duo's mission, as Deadpool emphasizes how much he needs Wolverine's help to save his world. The latest trailer also confirmed that Jackman will be playing a new iteration of the fan-favorite hero, one that's quite different from the character from the original X-Men films. Additionally, the video also revealed the long-awaited return of Dafne Keen as X-23 from 2017's Logan.
Deadpool & Wolverine is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay by Reynolds, Levy Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Zeb Wells. The threequel features returning Marvel stars Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Hugh Jackman as Logan/Wolverine, Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, Stefan Kapicic as Colossus, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio. They’re joined by MCU newcomers The Crown’s Emma Corrin and Succession’s Matthew Macfadyen who have also joined the cast to portray Cassandra Nova and TVA agent Paradox, respectively.
