Deadpool & Wolverine BREAKS R-Rated BOX OFFICE RECORD

UPDATED, Tuesday AM after EXCLUSIVE: Marvel Studios/Disney's Deadpool & Wolverine according to sources early this morning brought in an estimated $24.3 million yesterday, making it the best R-rated Monday ever for a film at the domestic box office. The Monday also ranks as the fourth-best for July behind Spider-Man 2, Barbie and The Dark Knight.
The four-day total for the film directed, produced and co-written by Shawn Levy is $235.7 million. We'll have more updates as they come, as well as Disney's official figure.
