According to Nielsen, the second night of the Democratic National Convention saw a slight increase in ratings, with 20.6 million people tuning in across 12 networks.

That's about half a million more than the first night, again surpassing the viewership of the Republican Party Convention, which saw a sharp drop to just 14.8 million viewers on the second night.
This is also an increase from the second night of the DNC in 2020, which averaged 19.2 million viewers.
The second night of the DNC aired live from Chicago from approximately 10:00 to 11:45 p.m. ET, featuring speeches from former President Barack Obama, former first lady Michelle Obama, second gentleman Doug Emhoff and more.
